Ephesians 6:10-18
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." 

"Prayer is the foundation of our relationship with Jesus. He wants and is waiting for us to talk with him each day to share his love, blessings, guidance and wisdom." 

    Have you ever visited a good friend, a family member, your father or mother whom you haven't seen for a long time and spent hours talking. I can remember talking to my dad after not seeing him for a long time and talking till four in the morning. 
    Jesus, friend of all friends, wants to talk with you just like this. All we have to do is open the door by saying Jesus I am here, invite him in and he will meet with you. 
    In praying with Jesus our words don't have to be exact, because He takes our prayers and presents them to his father in Heaven in a perfect way. And besides that He already knows what we are going to say before we say them and He already knows our needs before we ask. Some times we may not feel like saying anything and that's Ok too because in our quiet time with Him He may just quietly talk to our heart and in that quiet time we will hear his voice 
    As you meet with Jesus each day your relationship will grow and yes there will come a time you will talk with Jesus till four in the morning. Jesus wants our hearts in a relationship with him. That relationship can only work on the foundation of prayer, talking with God.
