Colossians 1:22

  "But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation--" 

   "We all have a need to be rehabilitated from the inside out, by the reconciling power of Jesus Christ and His lifelong program of rehabilitation, to change us into a new creation in preparation for that final day, "The Day Of The Lord". 

We have rehabilitation programs for such conditions as alcohol and drug addiction. God too is in the business of rehabilitation. 
God's rehabilitation program is needed for all us to remove from us the addiction to sin. If we say we have no sin we make God out to be a liar. 1 John 1:10
"If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives." 
If we claim we are not addicted to sin then the apostle Paul tells us differently.
Romans 7:23-25
"23. but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 
24. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 
25. Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin." 
Sin is death and hell forever. God's plan, through his endless and boundless love, grace and mercy, is a plan of reconciling us from sin, death, and hell to a life forever with Him. This perfect plan works it's way only through Jesus Christ who paid the price for sin through His death on the cross. 
With the price Jesus paid, He redeems us and claims us as his own, to rehabilitate us with a transforming power, changing us into new creations, destined to be presented spotless and pure on that final day. 
We are certain of this because Christ has promised us in His holy word to transform us into a new creation, to bring us from death of our old nature to life with Him forever.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" 
In this transformation we will be given a new heart and a new spirit.Ezekiel36:26
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh" 
God has promised to do this work of reconciliation and rehabilitation in us to completion, to the end, to present us holy spotless and pure in the Day of the Lord. Philippians 1:6
"being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." 
What is our part in all of this? This is a free gift from God. Free to all who come to the Savior and humbly repent of their sins and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Jesus Christ will do the transforming part lest anyone should boast. 
There must be more you say. Yes, and that is simply this, that Jesus wants you to trust and obey Him and to have a one to one relationship with Him, to talk to Him through prayer and the Holy word of God.
