In the summer if you want a place to go
I have just the place, I will have you know
Pack a picnic and your kids in your car
The place I have in mind is not very far
Fasten your seat belts, safety first you see
Then find the nearest way to highway THREE
The village of WHEATLEY will be East or West
That is for you to decide which is best

a full meal and drinks you'll be glad you drove

the largest fresh water fishing port is your wish
Or maybe
just a pier off which you would like to fish
Take a drive two miles south towards the lake
You'll also find
a beach, a swim you may want to take.
If you don't catch any fish,
you can get whatever you desire
There are fish retail
outlets where you can be the buyer
There is Loop's,
Presteve Foods, Taylor's and Omstead's
That have every kind
of fish, some even have frozen veg.

There is an excellent golf course Talbot Trail Golf Club not very
far.
Not even a mile just down the road on highway three.
But call ahead for a tee off time, their so busy you see.

Although predominantly a seniors club adults of any
age can join.
This club prides itself on giving a service to the
community especially to those in search of friendship a place to meet and
participate in activities. For those who enjoy singing you are more than
welcome to join our Choir.
With a membership fee of only $10.00 we strongly rely
on municipal grants. For every registered member submitted at the start
of each year we receive a grant of $14.00
